Yes, limited in numbers and there's an extra fee for paying on the day....if we still have spots left.

It's TAMS/Forestry who limit the numbers based on the camping space and forest use policy, not the club. We have to report back to them, so we can't really do anything about the numbers limit at this stage. But we are discussing with them how we might be able to increase the numbers as we go on each year and it gets bigger.

Sidi crossfires s40 - to try on

Hey folks, I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have a pair of Sidi Crossfires in size 40 that I can briefly try on :)

I'm usually a 39, and they don't make them that small, so need to see if a 40 is too big...

They are long narrow boots - apparently the euro shaped foot - if your foot is broader, then you'd probably need to go up a size anyway ...

There's also a few variants of Crossfires, but you've probably noticed that - the older style are dirt cheap from the German sites ...

Yeah, I didn't realise that because the brand isn't listed on their online shop. But I called anyway & they're happy to get me a pair in to try on, no obligation.

I'd be keen but have to run the bar at the Folk Festival this weekend.

I'm always "interested" in a ride, but I'm in the throes of house-moving, so that is taking priority for a short while.
A good loop I did years ago was Canberra-Bombala-Mckillops Bridge-Omeo-Dargo on day one, then back to Canberra via Bright, Tallangata, Corryong, Adaminaby, we did it on an Australia day weekend, a damn fine ride.

Sitting in Bungandore waiting for Doc to arrive. Australia Day ride and camping at North Durras. Noice.

Have a great Australia Day everybody no matter how you spend it!
