Well while we're asking, anyone closer to me than Bergdonks (100km!) with a press that could seat a lower steering head bearing on a Yamaha lower triple clamp? Guess I could use a bit of pipe, block of wood and thumpometer, but pressing it on is preferred.

Had a big turnout for a ride to Jugiong yesterday, via the gravel roads around Rye Park / Binalong / etc ...
Nice day for it - a bit dusty in the arvo, but the roads generally softer than they have been lately ...
Home through Wee J - including a new bit of track that lets you travel on dirt from Jugiong, right through to the top of the hill on the Wee J / Tumut road - having established this as a way through, there will some variants to explore - PM or email me if you'd like a GPX file ...
A pic from Donna:

Or maybe leave on the 26th for Speedweek (28/02 - 07/03) at Lake Gairdner.

Have a REAL holiday mate.

Shutting down the computer now, about the last thing to take down to the Bega Vally.

I'll be back when I figure out how to post without having to pay Telstra (code for "thieving cunts") $145/month. I shit you not.

TPG do it for $59/month, but are not available where I will be.

Im with internode, bloody good service. Your main problem will be distance to an exchange.
Some providers will not go over a certain distance because they cannot guarantee quality.
As far as wireless goes well you might be lucky, depending where that huge bloody mountain range is in relation to you.

Not sure if anything has changed out that way in the last 2 years, if not get used to imparja TV... on central Australian time lol

Out of interest, did that DSMRA Braidwood Bakery run happen a few weeks back?

We saw a few bikes in Tallaganda that day, but there's never been any sort of write up ...

Turned out much cooler than expected - might have been a good day for it ...

I thought you'd pulled out - would have been good to say hello - were you on the 690 or the 450 ... ?

Yeah I couldn't make it, the sprocket I ordered near 3 weeks ago only arrived this Tuesday.
I would have recognized your bike in the crowd had I been there ;)

We were stopped at the bottom of Gourock FT, and a little mob of enduros went past in the opposite direction ...

Could hear a few more in the bush somewhere ...

That would be yours truly. Coming from Palerang about to turn left onto Muloon Ft, not sure exactly what happened but the bike flipped out, front wheel just spat, and I went down hard. Bike hit the ground on the windscreen and pushed the headlight and windscreen assy back into the forks and handlebars. Got cracked rib both front and back on the left side, cracked right thumb as it took out the right mirror. Elbow and left thigh very technicolour this week. Codeine is my friend for a while yet.

And I was having an awesome time for the 20mins before on those trails, even the single track PD launched into to start the ride was great, even on the 650. Was pretty upset I chucked it away and hurt too much to continue on. And that the bike was not rideable enough to continue. Just limped it and me home gently.

Just wish it didn't hurt so much, so I could get stuck into my fork conversion now the bike is stripped down from the crash.
