Actually plenty of people do. Horizons unlimited has a bike swap section. Say you wanted to visit Australia and take a tour, or maybe Europe.

I had people fly in from Europe and tour the US on my old bike, lent it out twice, one of which was a couple.

I never batted an eye, bike came back, the guy even had a dealer give it a full tune up (not necessary) had new tires on it and a detail. Hell I was the one who made out like a bandit, I never even cleaned the bugs off the shield of that bike. When they got back on the plane I was pretty sure the bike was whimpering and the horror of having to stay with me.

Anyway, to the op, try Horizons Unlimited.
