The model number for the '84 and '85 is different. I used to have all the differences memorized but all I can remember now is the ignition module.

The LC had a monoshock (triangulated swing arm like in the '70s) suspension and no powervalve. It was not sold in the US.

The RZ350 was also called the LC ("elsie") in europe.

I've seen an R1-Z grey market imported into California. Someone parked it next to my grey market RZ500 at Laguna. it's a cute little bike.
I've had my 90 RZ 350 parked next to a RZ 500. They're both cute little bikes.

anotherguy, sorry I misled you somewhat with 'breaker's yard'.

It is a breaker's yard, but the area in the photos is for bikes that will be checked with any necessary repairs taken out. They will then be shipped to the main outlet of a secondhand biker dealer.

The bikes in the area are not for sale unfortunately.
