He said that the dealership hired a certified HD tech, and plan to sell a lot of used HD bikes beginning this Spring. Some buyers can't afford a new Vic, others just want a good deal on a used Harley. And every time a HD comes in for service, the owner is offered a ride on a Victory demo bike.

Interestingly, this is the second Vic dealer I've visited that uses this strategy. Employ a certified HD mechanic, undercut the nearest HD dealer on service prices, and offer free demo rides.

Should be interesting to see how this turns out.

I like that!

Our market also has no shortage of used HDs. What's worse, is dealerships from other states are listing bikes on our craigslist. Not to say they can't or shouldn't, but it almost seems a little desperate, because i have never seen them do that before. Not a good time to be getting rid of a used Harley.

new bike first victory

Fresh off the trailer on a crappy slick 19 degree day. She's in dire need of a bath, but she's all mine damn it! 2007 Vegas premium. The victory black saddle bags and memphis shades screen are cleaned up and bagged in the house.

Planning on a set of bridgestones G850/exedra max front to replace the orginal worn out dunlops....

OK ... so that pic makes it obvious where Kawasaki nicked the "look" for their VN900 Custom ... right down to one of their color choices!

Polaris Industries a record fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 2013, with sales revenue of $1.08 billion and a net income of $108.7 million. While off-road vehicles represent the bulk of Polaris’ business, its motorcycle operations saw a 94% increase in fourth quarter sales, thanks to strong demand for Victory Motorcycles and the addition of new Indian Motorcycles models.

Angle between grip and mirror seems to be too great.

My usual style is to be disagreeable on forums, but in this case, I won't.

I was in Ouray this past July. I love that part of the country. How many times did you drop it?

High bars make sense.

The Gunner will be introduced at the Chicago Show this weekend?

This seems to be the opinion of various speculative Internuts.
