Bummer!

alright so i found a good deal on some FMF pipes for my 990 baja on motocoross giant! so i ordered them and last night i get a phone call from them telling me they cant ship the pipes to me due to "state regulations" from california. they said due to state laws of california they cannot and will not ship the FMF 4.1 outta state!

my question is, why not?!!! its beyond me why a pipe cannot be shipped outta state. is it the emissions law or what for being the reason i cant order the pipes from them? so long story short i got my money back and looking elsewhere for pipes for the baja.

Don't have the answer for you, but where did you get a good deal for those of us outside of California?

Maybe someone from cali can receive and relay them for you...? A bit extra cost, but if the deal was really good maybe is containable.

Yes use the orange tree to help a brother, it has worked well for us in NZ and out of country.

i originally ordered them from motocrossgiant.com for $613.00 but due to state regulations that got cancled. i now have ordered them from the place i provided a link for $683.00. while it is a little more its better than pay $800 for them on KTM-parts.com , KTMworld.com etc. hope this helps you guys.

also the pipes i bought in the link are the TI version and come with sound baffle

Not All Of IT

Lets keep the Sierras and add them to Nevada. Would loose a lot of good riding area. Big crack just west of Hwy 49.

FWIW, for that kind of money I would be looking at a pair of Wings. Price is similar and the Wings are much nicer. I have a FMF 4.1 Ti on my dirt bike and it's nice for a dirt bike, but it doesn't compare.

Kali now has a retroactive law on pre-2007 trucks. You can't drive an older truck into Kali without an expensive retrofit or upgrade. Expensive is $8000 to $24,000 retrofit. This is an unprecedented law in the USA. Imagine them slapping this on motorcycles. It would be impossible. They think you can legislate your way to new physics.

The EPA and CARB are chasing the last 0.0001% of pollution standards to justify their own power and position.

You are talking about tractor/trailer trucks right? Not everyday pickups?
