So if the 130 is really too small, it won't work.. But the Dunlop D606 has a hard compound for a 50/50 tire and comes in 130/90/17.

I am just putting them on my 650 honda. I carry 6 gal fuel, wolfman stuff, and drive 75 mph regularly. I am putting 120's on mine.

I liked the Michelin T63 on my KLR...might look at that...Got a set of Michelin Starcross INT/Hard for my XR...not worried about DOT compliance

I have about 2000 miles (80/20 street/dirt usage, underinflated most of the time ) on the Big Blocks on my Stelvio; the back tire looks like it's about 50%. The tires were purchased about a year ago so I think they're pretty solid now.

However, nearly none of those miles were in the Texas summer heat.

I also had trouble with the K60 rear squaring off around 5k but the front feels fine and looks like it will last 12k easily. I put an Anakee 3 on the rear and this is a fast combo on street and gravel without having to air down. I'm on a 650 though.

I took Slowoldguy's prescription...have a Tourance on the back, TKC on the front. Turns in VERY quickly, but feels much better on loose stuff and not bad at all on slabs/blacktops. Came from Anakee 3's, which were great on the road, but slipped quite a bit in big gravel/rocky stuff.

Now that that's out of the way, anyone interested in a little Hill Country camping/rabble rousing April 26/27th?

Trying to coax some of my DFW area brethren to accompany me down to da 'kuntry, but many of them are still scared from last time they went.

Best place to get a bunch of routes in a booklet is to contact Richard over on a Two- wheeled Texans. He has great set of routes based his TAR rides. Go the dualsport forum. He has his own section called Texas Adventure. Or google his website. I have all his booklets . 2 of some. Well worth the money IMO.

What kind of mileage do expect to get out of them?

I'll just double what ever you tell me, for my use.
