My wife bought the Formas a couple of weeks ago. They run fairly small in size 40, she usually wears 38 shoes. By the time you have a sole in there and some bike socks they are OK. Boots designs don't always scale down well, but the Formas seem OK. They ordered them in for us and she could try them.

Jess has a brand new pair of tech 10's for sale on trademe if anyone is interested.

After jess's accident, and what she went through i wear full mx boots if I'm doing anything like adventure riding. Even just on gravel roads. I'll wear road boots around town or if I know I'm staying on the black stuff.

The Saturday before last Dawn tried on a friends size 39 Sidi Adventures and they fitted well so I asked a local bike shop to check the importer out about indenting a pair. We got a reply that it would be September before we could get them I guess they must do two stock orders a year.
So I guess it might be back to the new Forma's

Have you used FC Moto before. Their price seems to be good. Better than US Pricing.

Bit the bullet and ordered a pair from FC Moto. $489 incl delivery. Probably get pinged GST but will still be cheap

Yep, got my Airoh helmet off them as did Rosie, she got a jacket too. No problems, delivery times were a bit variable but nothing too far off what was quoted. You can get stung another 10% footwear duty if you are unlucky too.

I actually got my new Sidi's from the local dealer as I really wanted to try them on alongside the similar Alpinestars Toucan, they were happy to get a pair of each in & I don't mind paying a premium for that.

Unbelievable that the importer couldn't be arsed getting a set in for Dawn, it's not as if they're not making any money on them!!!

Cheers
Clint

Thought I better update, the boots arrived in a week or so. Being over the $400 they attracted the attention of the GST grabbers but to spite paying the GST and the other customs fees we still landed the boots for $600. At least $100 lower than the cheapest price I have seen them for.
Dawn wore them for the first time on our ride to Auckland to watch the speedway. Rapt with them, comfy straight out of the box.
Thanks Clint for putting us onto FC Moto.

Phil
