Hi Chris, Josh here, we met and had lunch at the Fairlie café after the 2013 DB1k (after your wallet incident!)

Good to hear you’re all sorted and on the road, have a great trip mate

Thanks Josh

I remember that moment well. I thought I had lost my wallet, when it had actually fallen down inside my riding pants, thanks to a tear in the pocket lining. Not a good feeling when you think you have lost your wallet especially in a foreign country.

Chris

Hey Kiwis

Had a great time travelling round the South Island on a rented Super Tenere- putting the bike on the Earnslaw and riding the Von Road and Nevis road was a highlight. Also managed to get some riding in the north on a mate's Ducatis- Hyperstrada and 860GST- out of Auckland went up to Keri Keri via the west and then had a fantastic run down through the middle- at least that was where I was told we went...

Great pic Three Dawg - Molesworth or Rainbow?

As for Mavora Lakes (Von Road) and the Nevis , they're top rides

Go well - thanks for posting

Cheers! That shot was actually on the Hakataramea (sp?) pass on the way to Tekapo. Another great road!
