Hwy 9 from Allison to Melbourne is very under rated, but easily in my top 5. Another is 235 off of 65, east over to 14 then down to 341... 123 is a terrible road, covered with gravel, state troopers and ugly hippie chicks... At least that's what I want everyone to think.

Agreed on Hwy 9... fantastic. Fun loop out of Mnt View is: hwy 87 to 14 East, cross over hwy 5 and get on hwy 9 to Melbourne. South on hwy 69 over to Hwy 58 thru Guion, then 14 back to Mtn View. . Sorry...thats off topic though..

If you're around Hot Springs on a Wed. night, get a room at the Arlington Hotel and walk across the street to the Ohio Club for the "Hump Night Blues Jam". We've been a number of times and never came away disappointed.
And, oh yeah, Arkansas is motorcycle heaven in my book whether you're talking street, dirt, or dual sport. If we didn't have old folks to take care of over in the 'Nations', we'd have moved long ago.

This is true. Harrison is a great base camp city with miles and miles of great riding in all directions around it. Lucky me, I live 15 miles north of Harrison.

Not to mention that there are several motorcycle shops there to bail you out when you have figured out that you destroyed a set of tires in an impossibly short period of time.

Thanks for the vidoe

I rode this section in 2013 and met skate boarders coming down the section around minute 3 using both lanes and having a ball. Many [people out with cameras and making sure uphill traffic stopped to let the crew ride in safety. Great to see!!!!

This is Hw 7 - you won't like it because with all those twists and curve why shoot, you can't relax for a second!
