Can anyone comment on how well the hip and knee armor might stay in place in an off with Powershell or Lombard? Aside from anyone who has actually had one (an off that is) I'm also interested in thoughts/guesses on whether the armor would stay in the correct location? For example you can position the knee armor with velcro I believe but if the suit twisted or rode up under impact/friction with the ground might the knee armor rotate or move out of place? Same sort of thought/question ref hip armor.

I was wondering whether a system similar to "tightening" the elbow armor would be a desirable enhancement for the knee assuming it hasn't already been discussed?

Then another enhancement is chest protection. I think 'stitch includes an option for this in one or more of their suits although don't know how good the protection is. I could just use a third party chest solution with Teiz suits but then it starts to get more complicated for a quick suit-on, suit-off commute option.

I so want a custom suit and planned to get one before my Summer 2014 trip. I didn't see the price increase coming and wish now I had so I would have order mine before. On the fence now. If you don't mind me asking, what warranted the price increase?

the way the hip armor fits, i doubt that is has the chance to move.

you can secure the legs using two straps which also help in keeping the armor in place because you make the leg fit more snugly.

No need. I'm not complaining as much as kicking myself. Thank you.

Wicked Custom riding pants.

Hi Ghazi. The wife has finally gotten off the fence regarding a pair of the custom riding pants. (after two price increases....snooze = lose)

One of the measurements that is asked for is puzzling us. That measurement is "Waist to inseam". What does that mean? We've checked the measurement guide, and it's not mentioned there. I've also sent you a couple of e-mails regarding this, that were never answered.

Thanks,
Roy

Way to go Ghazi!

I've been away from ADVrider and biking for a while and thought I'd check in. This thread is still going...Right on, good job, I still love my V3 for cold weather riding.

Hi,
Apologies for the email issue. They must have never made it to my inbox (got marked as spam or something). please email us at sales@teizms.com once again :)

Waist to inseam is the measurement from the point you measure your waist - down to the point where the inseam starts. This helps us make sure the crotch of the pants is not too low.

Does this make sense ?
Let me know if you still need help

I guess the question is: Is this a straight vertical measurement, ie. Waist to floor, minus crotch to floor, equal "the measurement".
Or is it a rounded measurement: ie From the waist, over the tummy, down under the crotch to where all the inside seams meet?
There would be quite a difference between the two measurements.
BTW, I'm posting this to ADV in case any other OCD person has the same question.
