Only 9 days until I darken their doorstep. Get rid of my GS plank and get a NICE seat.

Ordered one in suede ( a +$90 option) for my Super Tenere two days ago. Can't wait to get it. I'm hoping the wife and I like it and it was a wise investment.

On the way

Just ordered mine in a full seat configuration. I was going to have them install it for a reasonable $20 but decided that for $75 more I'd get the pan and everything. This way I can recoup some of the cost if I sell my bike down the road. Can't wait to get it on the bike and get some good miles in.

I want to order the foam and cover for my 690 enduro. I have the old version seat concepts but its too wide.

I would like carbon sides with gripper top, but dont want the big blue logo. Can I get it without it? It would be a deal breaker.

Sorry, but the gripper cover only comes with the logo.
We are getting some samples of the logo in black where it is now blue, will see what that looks like.

I was supposed to report back to SC on my Tenere seat. I think I got the first passenger seat they did and my wife is very happy with it. Did a 10 day bike trip on it last fall and she didn't want to kill me at the end of it so I call it a success. I am more than pleased with the front seat for myself.

I was just thinking I may order one for my DR350 soon

Any word on seats for the KTM 1190 Adventure? I know you said you were waiting on your bike -- did you get it yet?

Just wanted to say thanks to the guys at Seat Concepts, had me in and out super quick this morning. Didn't want to put one more mile on the stock seat.

Btw, everybody complaining about the new logo, it really is not nearly as bad as you are making it out to be...

I have to agree. After having the new logo on my seat for a few weeks now, I've grown quite used to it and don't even notice it....much. No different than having any other logo on an aftermarket part. Although, I would prefer not to have it on a suede cover, it wouldn't bother me on a gripper cover.

In fact, I'm groovin' on the suede. I have been playing with the idea of replacing my other SC seat covers with their suede versions.

Makes me wonder if some of these guys cut the stars off their Alpinestar's, the swoosh off their Nike's etc

I think if it didn't look so much like an afterthought people wouldn't object to it as much. Also, I think people wouldn't mind something on the side of the seat (like how a swoosh is on the side) as much as they mind a big blue circle on the top.

It's not nearly as big or gaudy as it looks in some of these pictures. Don't have it in front of me right now, but I'd say its under 2" across
