Thanks Claude, I'm hunkered down in the Northland motel with bad pizza and good scotch so at least for the moment, all is right in the universe.

Hey - I grew up in Onaping. I can't believe Brokentoof rode down Hwy 144 in such conditions. Must be a first.

Brokentoof - in my last trip report - I ate at the Subway in Chemy just down the street from you - when I rode through that area.

Back at home in Thunder Bay. Not quite as much snow as I had expected. But I'll have my work cut out for me today.

Mike, I was driving along the main street near our condo here in Phoenix and thinking to myself, it's really hard to believe, it's still winter. Starting to look forward to up and coming riding season.

Hey Greg - I completely agree. Even after only 1 week in La Romana (D.R.) I was briefly fooled into thinking that it was summer again. It felt incredibly strange to put long pants on again at the Thunder Bay airport on arrival yesterday. I must admit - I like the contrast though. It's strangely enjoyable to be sitting under the hot sun one moment and then seeing all this snow again. In one week it'll be March - and hopefully more sunny weather.

Lots of Suzuki AX100, Honda CG125, and Honda Lead 100 scooters. Also lots of Loncin branded bikes.

Might be a Honda. The 250 Falcon we see in Chile are cool, I really liked the Suzuki 100cc two strokes we saw in Ecuador . Some had chrome tuner pipes on them. Pretty sweet sounding as they ripped past

It's too bad we don't get the cool little bikes in Canada. Some really interesting rides out there. I did see a new Suzuki on Kijiji, might have been a 200 or 250, loo kings like a retro late 60's bike!
