good call on the Nads/Bads ride. We'll have to make a day of it - of course centred on coffe not like those uncultured North islanders.

You guys have got me all fired up now to Go Erzburg with the Bighorn. I reckon I could have got up quicker than this guy

Turbos keep spinning after the engine has stopped therefore getting no lubrication from the engines oil pump. The idea of a turbo timer is to let the turbo run down to an acceptabe speed before shut down. Pain in the ass waste of time if you ask me.

Man saw that coming. No locker, no locker, easy, easy, locker in, drops the jandal, boom goes a CV Made it though.

I'm not sure that you could mate. I think you're going to have to somehow prove it

*peer pressure*

I never had the bucks to do as much in mine as I would have liked but really enjoyed what I did get to do. If you pick your lines and battles you can have plenty of fun without much of a damage bill. It's easier saying that from a computer chair than a drivers seat looking at a gnarly track though

This is a bit off topic.

It seems that not many Russians were hurt in the making of this

Clip ons are a bit nuts, I'll take a nice comfy farm bike over that thing for a 1000 miler any day

Cheers

Bruce Bay is well worth stopping at. The beach is littered with white stones that have been weathered by the sea and people have left messages on them. Its a bit like walking through a cemetery and reading headstones.

Ella at 19 and I on the Guzzi after collecting too many of them.

All good mate, I reckon once Kokopelli has his GS back down we should have a Nelson/Marlborough get together and ride up somewhere like the Patriarch.

And anyway, me and Taz are planning on doing an overnight Molesworth/Severn/Rainbow mission this Thursday/Friday if anyone is keen.
John C is also considering coming along if his other plans don't happen.
Would love to join you but I've just filled my riding quota for now (3000km since friday) came through Molesworth yesterday arvo and it is in fabulous condition.

All good mate, and cheers for the update on the road.

Today Taz got the gate codes for Maling Pass and the Edwards Valley tracks just in case we find ourselves ahead of schedule on Thursday.
I was thinking maybe the Howard valley and Porika track on Friday before slabbing it back home.

I'll have the XT filled to the brim (All 8.7L) and then another 12L in two fuel cans.
It should be plenty for exploring (what with bad mileage being 5L/100km ) and if not, we might have to duck into Hamner for some refreshments.
