Heading out this weekend and setup the iPhone app for my GoPro, I'm telling you once you put the iPhone on the bike there's no limit to the reasons you'll keep it on.

Paul,
I think it's only fair that you distribute them in the order of proximity to your shop. Just so you know I'm working near the Boulder Rez...

Question pull the trigger

OK I am close to puling the trigger on this app but have one last question. Going to do sandblast in a few weeks and kinda would like to use this app. But wondering if a guy from out of town (Canada) does this app use data and if so how much? Because if i have to get a data plan from my carrier it cost a lot.
thanks

No data required. In fact, my "real" phone is an Android and the iphones I've used during development never had a plan. I did find out, however, to add a new (to me) phone to itunes and set it up you need a SIM card. I just pulled the card from my Android and away I went. After setup I yanked the card and everything worked perfectly.

Good luck at the Sandblast! Post a pic if you end up using the app.

True story, no data needed. You won't NEED the app for sandblast but it will be easier than the stock ODO.

Just buy it, it's a good app and supports a fellow rider!

Not for a while guys, still need a cable so I can integrate that into the design. The app does work in the cold too.

Just did another night time 9 hour car rally. The ODO's are spot on. I used the two ODO's: 1 for the stage mileage- reset when needed; the other ODO for total distance (more accurate and easier to read then stock car ODO). Works awesome and north of the border too! HA.

Another South African buyer just lobbed money in your account. Andrew - you think they'd let us use this in the Amageza. I mean, technically it could be used to break certain rules, but maybe if the phone is deactivated....?

It's perfectly legal.

If worst came, the app still works without a SIM card in as it uses the phones GPS system.

But, I used an iphone tracking app in the rally and there was no issue.

RallyBlitz 1.1 Released!!

A quick update for everyone.

Version 1.1 was just released.

- Speedo (MPH or KPH) - Liaison violators and Dual Sporters rejoice!
- Scaling (as requested...now you can adjust the ODO only to match the scale used by whomever laid out the stage)
- Permanent ODO option
- Better user experience - all adjustments now inside App.

Enjoy and thanks for everyone who has used it so far!
