Anyway, in more relevant news I put the new battery on the 1150 yesterday and gave it a fresh drink of Royal Purple since it was the same price as Mobile 1. The interesting thing is my top speed from 70 mph in 6th gear without downshifting is up to 104 indicated instead of 101 indicated and it was warmer today than yesterday.

It takes shifting to 5th to get into the power band and pull past 104. I guess I'll have to turn the GPS on this afternoon and see what happens.
Try some LL100...I gained 9mph and 6 Mpg

Yeah, those are awesome packs. May have to look at getting another one at those prices.

Sad day.

I need to come mount some boxes on my 1150. When I do I'll bring you 6 consolation presents.

Ghost, unknown at this time. I'm in San Antonio and going back to Granbury Friday. Loco for dinner on way home. PM me your number and I'll call you when passing through Lampasis.

Now to do something fun today, like change the alternator belt on my wife's R1200R she never rides, and I'm about to claim as mine. Or maybe go explore some of the roads I'm just now discovering around Marble Falls. Finished the rest of the annual full service on the two R1200's yesterday so nothing else to clean, wax, change oil in or generally waste time on.
How 'bout Sunday? Looking to be a little cool but clear.
