Just attended the November class and learned a TON! Thanks for a great weekend. Those new skills at staying relaxed and active on the bike go a long way to increasing confidence and enjoyment. This class is something I could do every year and just keep building on the skill sets.

Great class! Highly recommended!

Good to hear you had a great experience.
I've been wanting to re-visit the school ever since I took my first class. I figure this next winter my new to me 990 R will get properly working together at the first opportunity. definitely the best school I've been to. Hell of a lot better than Engineering school.

Here is our spring dates since I have been forgetting to update this thread...

2/1-2/2 2014 King Of The Motos, Johnston Valley, CA
2/15-2/16 2014 Series 1 Essential Skills Course
2/28-3/2 2014 Alt Rider Taste Of Dakar, Pahrump, NV
3/22-3/23 2014 Series 1 Essential Skills Course (recommended for BIG BIKES)

Most of the classes are pretty full and we only have a few rental bikes left at each.

I'll be attending the DV Noobs Rally this year and doing seminars as well as doing a class at Alt Rider's Conserve The Ride event in Pennsylvania in early June.

Thanks to the ADV community for the many years of support of our school.

They are separate and very specialized catering to a racer. We tried to incorporate an "adventure" aspect into the training but it did not work out. I know it would be fun, especially with some of the new technology out there and how riders could "rally" but not really a school or training need.

I would *guess* there would be a good amount of interest in a rally-raid style "adventure" ride that is non-competitive.

We have a couple of similar events in Canada (one run by KTM Canada in Quebec called the Orange Crush Rally) and they are extremely popular up here.

If for no other reason than lots of us that race the odd rally-raid event would really enjoy the chance to ride a roadbook route for the practice and the fun of it, without the added stress of race prep and race pace.

dc

Edit: I have been hoping to make the "racer" school for some time, but there are limited offerings. I'm still totally in for another school, but I need some lead time to book off. I see there's another guy interested below also.
