What can I say besides I'm pretty jazzed for a change of scenery change of jobs and change of culture. Looking forward to meeting new folks and embarking on a new life adventure... !

I will be working in the Colonial Heights area while Mrs $ bags will be in the heart of downtown. housing suggestions appreciated! Will be in the neighborhood in a couple weeks to figure things out and I have a 4/15 start date at the new jibby job!

So gimme all ya got.. Good i nstagrams to follow for Va motor biking? Twitterers? Events we should definitely plan to attend? What else?

Well it's a heatwave here today at 42* so I'm busting out on the moto for a bit and hope I get to talk with and meet a bunch of you guys n gals real soon!

I'm sure the Richmond guys will give the lowdown on housing and local culture.

That being said, this would be a good opportunity to meet some locals: http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=946882

There more then likely will be a group that will do all pavement. There is a nice loop that includes Smoke Hole & Seneca Rocks, all pavement except for the road H14 lives on and his driveway. There are a lot of nice pavement rides in the area.

It's also close to some nice Forest Service, State, and County dirt/gravel roads.
