Well it took me almost 40 years but I finally have my first Zuk. I really got it for the wife but hey I can ride it too.
06 dr with 4500k on it, came with an almost new Sargent seat and a two brothers pipe. Might be a nice bike for weekend camp and fish trips.

Now folks tow them over from MD or down from PA and treat the dirt roads like an off road park, because no one tickets them.
Greetings all
Funny that I read this, because I have been working a few days the past couple weeks in Huntington. Yesterday on the trip north I was admiring the weather and scenery, thinking I wish I could bring the bike back down here and putt around on the back roads. Thinking all the adventure exploring you could do at a snails pace with no one trying to run you down.

You can putt around on the backroads, just have to be aware that you are not the only one using them.
I just took my daughter for about a 70 mile ride, about 50/50 street/dirt.

Saw no one on the dirt roads, no quads, no SXS and no other bikes.
Saw one other bike in Parsons, an older guy gassing up his Connie.

Damn nice day, but pretty windy.

Tucker Co writes tickets for quads on the street I think, they don't here in Preston Co.
They are the vehicle of choice when you have multiple DUIs

I think that in Tucker, quads are okay on paved roads as long as there are no painted lines on the pavement. But you must have a helmet on. No quads in national forests, 2-wheel licensed and tagged only.

That is WV state law.
It's completely ignored here in P Co.

Which is why I have refused to plate my EXC.
Why should I when there are quads and SXS driving up and down US 50?

I don't see any difference 2 wheels or 4.

Either make them plate them, or kick the unregistered, uninsured vehicles off the street.
I'd be happy with an ORV tag if we had public riding areas.

Good thumper ride with Jtucker today. Little chilly at times but super dry.

Great shake down on the 400...we even hit a little singletrack.

I think we got in about 50 miles.

So how'd your entry perform, TDR?

Yea, I think I'm going with a new XT250. They can be had for cheap enough and she doesn't mind paying the monthly payment. I appreciate everyone's input. Looking forward to warmer weather now!

I'll be riding bumps and stumps lapping the family farm after work tomorrow on my gasser...I am really loving that bike...

Think I'm getting ready for a quick two days at Burning Rock with my cousin in a few weeks...anybody have any suggestions? Never been, but it sounds like they have opened more single track recently and have a pretty nice moto track....
