You don't have to worry about lining up the locking pin, it's spring loaded and pops into place when/if anyone tries moving the 'bike. The locking pin is small and clips to your keyring when not in use.
So then all you have to do is unbolt it and slide it off the disc missing the vent holes... or force a shim in between and then unbolt it. Yea, I think I'll stick with a standard disc lock.
