It doesn't look like he's been to Nordkap before, so that would be a good option for his future. Turkey seems new as well, maybe he can do both?

The map is complete up to June 2013, give or take

Super ta moto Amaury!
I'm in France at the moment in the wine region of Saint-Emilion near Bordeaux but am moving to Australia this summer. I could always find a space for him in my luggage if he wanted to hitch-hike back to his homeland free of charge. Let me know!

Well, the first one in Paris gets him, he wants to see new places, and would be amazed to come back to Australia

I think it would be good for him to head back down under - he has spent quite a bit of time in Europe now ! When are you setting off ? Just wondering if he could do Nordkap with me and then drop off to you ?

Nordkap... Wow! That's a trip!
The plan so far is to quit my job in May, and head off between mid-June and the beginning of July for a year or two biking around Oz. I'd be happy to meet you somewhere to pick up the pig after your trip up north.

Mmmm timing might not quite work - I will be heading home from Nordkap and travelling past Paris around 11 or 12 July so it might be too late to hand over our little Porker before you head down under.....

Mmmmm - we need to get our little pig moving again !

Mistermike - how are your plans going ? Still on for a May departure to Aus ? Can you get to Paris to pick up Bacon before you go ?

If not, I am in France next week and could probably meet up with AmauryAML to collect Bacon before taking him up to Nordkap in June.

Have to say I would prefer to see him heading away from Europe - he's spent a fair bit of time here and it's time to move on to pastures new !

Flights booked for the 18th June, and time seems to be racing ahead. Not sure if I can make it up to Paris for a good couple of weeks. It's a ten hour round trip for me and I'm not sure if I can justify it.

Anyone else in Northern France or Paris who could give Bacon a lift down south in the next few weeks ? He's actually really good fun as a travel companion !

A mate will be in Paris in about a week. He ( and his wife ) are spending about 5 weeks travelling. I could send his cell phone number for a hook up to get Bacon back to Oz.
