Tajikistan - southern route

I'm planning to ride this route next year:

Length is ~1400km. I think one week should be quite enough for whole thing with enough stops (actually lots of stops) for taking pictures :) What do You guys think? Considering whole trip plan I could schedule few more days for this part but I'm not sure if it is necessary.

Samarkand to Dushanbe border closed

I believe the border between Samarkand and Penjikent is closed and not about to reopen soon..
You'll have to cross at Denov

Hi. One week is ok for the trip, even though the scenery gives you a lot of places you want to stop.
