I ordered a set last night after reading reviews for just about every available set (including the $50 Chinese jobbies sold on eBay -- hey, they come in orange and are billet aluminum!).

The Fastway F3s won out due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews and the adjustability factor. I paid $107 delivered.

The CJs and PivotPegs were close 2nds.

Will update this post as soon as I have them installed and put them to good use.

Which Fastaway pegs did you get? The Adventure pegs are def about $240...I recently came to the same conclusion on purchasing Fastaway and will be ordering the adventure model. Your link is dead...hopefully you were able to the Adventures for $107

Fastway F3 Footpegs (22-3-503).

Correction: $109 shipped by Amazon. Just a bit less expensive than from eBay ($115).

These are the correct pegs for the 990 ADV (but are NOT the orange-colored Fastway ProMoto Billet Adventure Style Billet footpegs).

PMB Adventure Pegs on the ADV R and KTM rally pegs on the Super Enduro. I like the feel of both sets of pegs. I don't notice the increased peg to seat distance of the PMBs that much. I do notice that they are lower and farther back when I shift. The peg/shifter relationship just doesn't work as well for me as stock or rally pegs and I occasionally miss a shift because of it. I can't adjust the shifter to a position that works any better either.

My stock pegs had been weakened by the PO drilling holes through them at several places to mount some larger platforms. I like a standard sized peg, but expected the pegs to break the first time the bike took a nap in a rock garden. I scrounged around in my scrap metal bucket, and found some 3/4 inch by 3/16 inch mild steel stock to weld to the the stock pegs. I also filled the drilled holes with some MIG wire. These feel just right for my personal preference.
