Going back and forth with Webike about the top boxes. Having a bit of hard time. Because I bought mine outside Japan, they are trying to tell me that the parts I bought only fit the Japanese model. Thing is, from the Japanese website you can clearly see the rear rack is the same. The Honda Japan web site also says that there's additional mounting gear needed for the said top boxes. Something I pointed. Waiting on an answer.

So, 6 days since an update on the Cubs, Gore-TX... what's up? Riding a bunch? Found a way to attach the top-boxes?

I have a milk crate on my XT225. So you bought the bikes, had them registered in Mexico, brought them here, and are riding them here with Mexican plates? Wouldn't they have to be registered to a Mexican citizen? And how do you insure bikes registered in Mexico in the U.S.? I have friends here who have relatives who are Mexican citizens. I seriously considered buying a new VW bug in Mexico, registering it to them, and letting them drive it across the border. But I couldn't figure out what to do after that.

Yes to both! It's amazing what you can do when you can't go online to your favorite place!

I did find a way to attach the top boxes. I have to say, the Japanese manual made it hard for me but I finally got it. Webike was trying to be helpful but I guess they didn't understand (since they all speak Japanese and all). They even contacted Honda and Honda didn't give instructions but said it should fit. If it didn't fit that's because I had a different Super Cub model which they couldn't figure out either (because there are no different Super Cub models!). It's all good now!

A few pics showing the top boxes. I think they look great.

Not sure, but I don't think those boxes are big enough to deliver pizza's with unless you start folding the pizza's up. Then you might have a problem with customer satisfaction. People are just too picky, they want their pizza to look like pizza when it arrives.

I have been enjoying the thread. If I remember correctly you stated a while back that you are 6ft tall. Do you feel that you may get a bench seat in the future? I really like these bikes, Symba as well, but at 6'2" am almost certain I would need a bench seat to be comfortable. Would love to see Honda send these bikes to the states.

How nice it would be to live in a slow paced charming town and have these to cruise on.
