Cold start injector sensor (basically a temperature sender) for a 1991 GT4 Celica: $595.00. Needless to say, I just put up with the difficult cold starts. (It's only a weekend/trackday car)

Eek

Kick-start lever assembly for a 2000 WR360 Husky, PO had done a dodgy weld fix and I nearly peeled the skin to the bone when my shin hit the foot peg .

After ordering parts, go into the local for pick-up and I'm told by the spare's department " That will be $295 thanks " , WTF .

It was in ADB. At the time the RRP for the XR was around $6000. IIRC

Half that actually, about $2500 when they first came out in '74.

Took the Civic to the dealer for service, front pads needed replacement: 400+ USD

Got premium pads from Advance Auto for $50 and put them in myself. Bought a brake bleeder tool for $30 and took care of that too. Total cost with fluids etc. less than $100.

The money saved I'll invest in hookers and blow!

$700 for a fuel pump to fit a 2007 Suzuki DL1000.

On eBay there are Chinese ones for $35 shipped! Just order two, and keep one as a spare!?

That BMW bracket is simply stuipid. I just don't understand why people buy those bikes, but whatever.

1976 in Perth WA, the last 90S (Daytona Orange) for sale in that state was priced at $3552.00 plus on roads.

Edit: Maybe it was $3553.00, it was a long time ago.
