Seriously. I'll work twice as hard for half the pay as long as I know I'm the one profiting from my efforts. I'll have job security as much as the market will bear, I'll be able to change direction if I feel the need to, take some time off, or hell I could even work from a foreign country without running afoul of their employment laws.

I can be myself, and not have to lie about my "five year plan" to people who don't understand my lifestyle and never will.

Congrats on your success! It's rough out there, but I'm pretty optimistic. Time will tell!

Thanks for the concern! I feel connected to you guys too. I haven't been posting much because I want to have more "substance" to offer you all, but haven't had time to sit down and write. Things should relax some in the next months, I've got a post halfway done, but we'll see. Maybe I'll even get to go outside sometime!

Stay strange!

The value of this simply cannot be emphasized enough. Having your revenue 100% geographically independent is empowering. I love knowing that I can pack my laptop and take my livelihood with me. I haven't completely been able to shake off having to make client visits, but that day will come.

Keep on keeping on.

I missed out on all the fun and excitement while it was going on. I enjoyed reading this report and the pix. If you get back on the road, I'll be here to read about it. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.
