Having been someone effected by this I am happy you have gone to the trouble of providing a possible solution to this problem. Having just checked and re-lubed my splines I will be following your clutch modification closely, once again thanks for providing this Spacer clutch modification.

Spacers 2.0

I picked up the spacers today after 300% quality check on site and one more check now, and probably one before I ship them. It is strange to be on the other side of the quality game.
I plan on packaging tonight and shipping them out Wednesday.
There are currently 8 paid orders. If there are any special instructions please PM me (some already have), otherwise shipment is going to the Paypal address.
Thank you for your understanding and I appreciate your support.
Jim you know where I live so we'll figure it out.
Esmir

I was also told that 10 additional parts should be ready by next Monday.
For the people that are currently on the new wait list (7 people listed above) ,if you want to get 10 rivets with the spacer it will be $5 additional so $90 total for spacer with 10 rivets.

Spacers are being shipped

My wife will drop them at the post office today.
Total of 9 getting shipped, 8 US and one Canada, the Canadian one will take a little longer to get there.
Couple of people were asking about adding rivets to the order and to keep it simple this first batch will come with 10 rivets included at no extra charge with each spacer.
There were two inmates that send money under friends and family option.
While this is a very nice thing to do ( I appreciate it) to save Paypal fees, it does not allow the option to print shipping label from Paypal, (hence the trip to the post office). I have sent e-mail to those people which can be disregarded now. Please PM me if you have questions.
I would appreciate feedback as you receive the parts regarding general impressions and suggestions for the future.
This thread can become feedback mechanism regarding any future quality improvements.
I have tried to do my best so far to ensure product is what I believe should be, but as always open to suggestions.

Parrot head is in. That would be 10.

I will keep the group updated via PM. If there is somebody that changed their mind let me know.
Otherwise if there are future requests please post it here and I will start the next wait list.
Thank you

I have sent PM to the group this morning. If you (or anybody from the list) didn't get it let me know.
I want to make sure I have parts in hand before I collect the payment. Feel better when I don't have other people's money for long before shipping the parts.

Advice Please

I have 2002 RT 6 speed & almost finished w/spare trans rebuild, going to install w/new clutch (disk only I think/maybe). My splines are very very nice with 80k.
I just wonder if this would be Over-Kill....?

My theory on the spline wear is that is it a combination of things that is made worse by the fact that there is incomplete engagement of the clutch hub.
I call it "reducing window of tolerances" theory.
There is a lot of tolerances that are in play here, (transmission, engine, splines, alignments, hardness), and due to the limited engagement of clutch hub some bikes that should be fine "run out" of this reduced window created by the incomplete engagement.
It is also possible that all bikes are affected but those in the center of the window would take a lot of miles to get there.
This is still highly experimental stage and there is no long term data on repairs of this issue, so it is up to everybody out there to make up their own mind based on the info available.
Pictures in this thread are of my own bike at 24k miles. I have tested the product for 1200 miles with no worsening of the situation. That is a fact.
Beyond that, it would be irresponsible to make claims that I can not support.
If there is any misunderstanding regarding this fact by the people that bought the parts or are about to do so please feel free to address them in the thread.
Esmir
