Great feedback.

I have both the Puig and Powerbronze for my GS-W, but haven't mounted either yet. The Puig is taller/wider than the Powerbronze and feels like it weighs 2x as much; it's a substantial piece. I was worried about it putting too much stress on the mounts, but folks seem happy so far...

oh the height wont be an issue for me i'm 6'5" with a high seat - i have never looked through a motorycle windshield

Thumb Just did a longish ride with the Puig...

I bought the Puig screen based on mwhite5471's report and pics (thanks!!).

I just did 1300KM this weekend in all kinds of weather. It is amazing. Quiet, comfortable, few bug splats, looks good!

I'm 6'2" 32" inseam.

I have the Wunderlich support coming but not really sure it's necessary.....

Just bought it

After reading this thread I decided to buy the Puig Windscreen.

Here it is the comparison with the GSA original one.

After mounting it.

It's amazing! A big difference!

I want a higher screen, but I don't want to have to look through it.
I find my current screen, if I bend my head down about 2" all the noise goes away.
I run my stock screen cranked all the way up, just until the top starts to twist back towards me.

So when this new screen is in the low position, is it any higher (or lower) than the stock screen when its in the high position?

This will give me a guide on what to expect.
I am 6' 1" with 32" inseam.

I run the PUIG about 1" from top and at 5'-11" i don't really look through it in normal road riding aka looking ahead of me.

Offroad would be another story as you're looking at the 5 to 10 feet in front of ya.

It's a great screen...you won't regret it!!!

The puig screen in the lower position is higher than the stock in the higher position. Here it is the comparison:

Guys, I actually work at MotovationUSA (we are PUIG distributor)

I wanted to let you all know that as of right now 5/23 the PUIG factory cannot supply any of these screens until the beginning of July. We have been taking backorders for them, and keeping everyone in the order that they are received.

just wanted to pass this along so that you all are aware that these have been so popular that the actual manufacturer is backordered as well.

carry on.....

clear screen (stock?) set to high, lines up with top of 1 course of block behind it.
Dark screen set to low, looks almost 6" higher when viewed against the block behind it.
Is that an allusion?
I guess if one of the pictures of the stock screen on top of the Puig screen, with a bottom lined up and tape measure on top would answer this question. I don't went to end up with a screen as big as the old K100LT's had
