New gear for the R1150GS !

I bought a new Garmin Montana 600, using my REI dividend and a Christmas gift card from my wonderful daughter, S-i-L and grandson. Got the powered mount and will get 'er up and running soon.

Gonna retire the ol' 376C which has served me well. Almost too well. Hate to get rid of it as it has XM radio which I really, really enjoyed when on long (or short) trips. Off it goes to the Flea Market page!

Also got a new tent, an Outbound Outpost 2 with a huge vestibule. It ain't no Redverz but will work for moi.

Saddlemen Adventure Track. I bought one last summer and love it. I tried an Airhawk first, which was an improvement over stock, but still not great for long distances. The Adv Track definitely reduces pressure on the tailbone and makes long distance rides easy, but it also helps to pay attention to your riding position and make sure you are up on your "sit bones". The only negative about the seat is it stays wet for or a while if you get caught in the rain and holds heat if you park in the sun in hot climates.

Where is the report on the Karoo 3's from late March? How did they work on the ride? Interested in these tires.

Munchmeister, is that one of those tents whose vestibule is large enough to hold your bike?

Added Black Dog Cycle Works skid plate and pegs. Also added Remus headers and Two Brothers Racing can. Lost a bit of bottom end with the new exhaust but love being able to hear the engine now.

Bought a Wunderlich air deflector, which gave me the justification I needed to buy a torque wrench capable of dialing down to 6nm. I installed the deflector and have been playing with the adjustment.

What? Do you mean that there are some of us BMW owners that don't?

Hi Brian, can you please tell us of your experience with the karoo 3s?
I have the twos and wondering what to replace with, I am interested in their wet weather bitumen performance.
Thanks Robbi
