Grab a 12pack of PBR and come take your pick. I'm in Longmont.

A lot of the Cafe Fenders I see done are sort of lame---the curved cuts aren't the sexy curves they should be---in my expert opinion of course.

Or how stupid some owners are. Saying you have complete maintenance records is smart. Saying maintenance isn't needed makes it an instant do-not-buy. The owners manual shows the minimum that should be done, and when.

That thing backfired on Land Rover. When the vehicles were re-introduced to the NA market there were two page magazine spreads showing a Rover crashing though the jungle and proclaiming, "Made it 700 miles running on Banana oil!". The British thought this showed how tough they were. The Americans wondered what happened to the oil that was in it when it left home. The ads were changed.

meh...I'd buy it.....common sense says that they did do some maintenance. Simply read between the lines. Valves and carbs need work or the bike would not run....simple as that.

On the land rover........actually I like that ad. If Americans are so dumb and to take an ad literally...well...they are simply dumb.

I moved this from the Flea Market to the appropriate discussion location... though it doesn't make much sense all by itself.

S. Meyer sells a nice reproduction of those pods now:

and if you're feeling rich:

I'd also be interested in one for a project bike my son and I are working on.

We can't answer without pics.

-Put them on ebay as uber- rare, make your fortune.

-Post on Craigslist and show the people how it's done.

Better yet, sell 'em here cheap/give them away and donate to Baldy, help keep the lights on.

Does your Dreyer have the tail fin?

Is it a three or four point mount?

How many of the mounts have the ball and claw style?

You can make a subframe and put some Harley type balls on the subframe.

Switch gear left side

I need a switch or part of one for my 89 r100gs.
Signals quit last year. Now the headlight is getting contrary and won't work on high beam. High position is the only way the light stays on...

water bottle mount(ing)

Anyone have a water bottle mount or ideas for one? A bicycle type mount but obviously more secure, or even one for a thermos. For my R100. Thanks

For a Thermos...

One of these:

https://www.google.com/search?q=hose...sm=91&ie=UTF-8

And two of these:

http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=256338011

Same for a water bottle, but substitute a bike water bottle cage for the Anything Cage.

r90/6 stator+case

Looking for a replacement stator+case for my 75 R90/6. Alternator is labeled 0 120 340 002. It would be the 105mm case according to Anton Largiader's site but with the Y terminal - used in 74-76. http://www.largiader.com/articles/charging/
thanks for any help.
