Fuel is critical on these bikes- for some reason they are finicky. Not sure if this is true but I was told that you need to drain the carb out if you wash the bike. SOG, that may hold true for drowning one too.

My bike sat with stabil in it from Nov-May and would barely start for a month then cough and sputter like crazy once she was running. I dumped the entire gas tank and it still took 20 miles of short daily rides to recover fully. Now I start it weekly and scare a young mother in the neighborhood to make sure she's in top running order, and to make sure the bike runs well too.

Ed. The mechanic told me there was visible water in the aftermarket tank. Nephew1 rode it. She's running good. :)

The old Tourance was a pain to get off the rim but the new Full Bore is went on easy.

I think you will like it. Better dirt grip than a Tourance.

I've liked mine, higher speed rated than the shinko 705. I've had no issues with it even with the plug in it. Probably get 3k miles out of it about same as shinko.

The Shinko did really well for what it was on gravel/ dirt. The F- B did just as well. The difference was on the street. The F-B had better cornering grip. You could and I did spin the Shinkos up on corner exits. I left a pretty impressive 25 foot black mark on CR1004 staying in front of thelawnguy87 a few years ago. It broke loose and I just kept it pinned . lol Doing my Gary McCoy on a 500 GP bike impression. At the time, Justin was impressed. Or scared for my life. One of those. Pretty sure.
