Black foot GS course

I took the course last summer - great course that reinforces the basics. Lots of opportunity for safe dropping of the bike!
Good for building confidence.

Did the Harold Creek Rd west from Water Valley, then the 940 up to Mountainaire Lodge on Sunday. Harold Creek was very snotty in places... all from the snow that fell on Friday.

Greg, my first ride of the year, and first post surgery. It was a slow, meandering ride. You would have been bored. No hooliganistics going on. Cheers, David

We pulled off a local dual sport ride East of Red Deer on Friday with the bro's

Headed up to Grande Cash by pick-up to check out the Kakwa River and North along with the Camfor 30 km cut across. Dual Sport Season is a go up there as a bit of snow is left on the West side tree lines.

Lots of bikes, quads, and cmapers in the area.

JB.

Those pics!

Are from last fall. They have a new gate up now. Easy to get around but still plenty of snow. Lets hope. You know what they did to Gorge Creek Rd. Also hope for Powderface Trail. They love closing roads. Then they don't have to maintain them.

Glad to hear it's finally not a skating rink to the end, lol! I think I may just have to put a helmet on and go down there today... I love my job at times like this when I am off till further notice,

So, I get this email from KTM last week announcing the demo days in Calgary (May 24) but I haven’t received anything from Blackfoot (and I am on the mailing list).

Since I signed up for the Kawi demo days (Ninja 1000 and C14), I sent an email to the nice lady from Blackfoot who confirmed the Kawi days asking about when the KTM signup was coming out. She called right back and said that they have so much demand from the bike show that they are not publishing the KTM days on their website, they are waiting for people to call them – strange way to do business…but I am confirmed to ride the 1190 Adv and the 1190 Adv R on May 24!

Anyway, if you want to ride the new KTM's contact Blackfoot ASAP! marketing@blackfootmotosports.com

BTW, I should have mentioned that you can also ride on May 27 at Cycle World in the NE....Blackfoot isn't the only game in town for KTM.

If I knew one of those, I'd already have an 1190R and a 1290 SD! KTM is on a roll!

I'm booked on the 24th as well at noon with a couple of buddies. One is a fellow 990 rider. We are taking the 1190R and the 1290 Superduke out. Then at 1 o'clock, we switch. Gonna be a great day. Ride to Blackfoot on our pimped out 990's, then take a couple of new KTM hooligan bikes for a rip. Really interested in adding a Superduke R to the stable! If anyone else is there that day, say hi!

I am sure that a 1290 SDR will be on the "No Fly List" from the insurance companies...but I love it.

I am there at the same time: Adventure at noon Adventure R at 1pm. I'm not sure I want to ride after Beemakilla - there won't be any back tire left!

I think 1 hour should be enough time to ride it over to the nearest Starbucks and impress the gang there!

Got to play in the garage a bit more... 450X is coming along nicely. It'll probably snow for a month when I'm finished, lol!

And this is the sad state my 990 is in... for a very short period of time. Getting rid of that god awful mammoth rear rim and lacing up an 18"x2.15" DID. Bring on the dirt!!!

Bloody rim is as wide as a 140 tire... YUCK!
