I reckon that everyone's had enough time to ponder the significance of
a Ner-a-Car's center-hub steering?

Here's the rest of Alan Perry's fantastic 1923 Ner-a-Car, to complete the picture for
you.

Don't even TRY to tell me that the brand new, weirdly-futuristic, electric
"motorcycle" being produced by Johammer doesn't owe anything to the
Ner-a-Car! 'Cause I won't listen to you!

oh......and NO, you won't be seeing THIS vehicle at the show!
(unless someone attempts to ride one in to the event, in which case the doors will be closed and bolted immediately)

Looks like they were ahead of the game on the light safety triangle thing.

And it’s a 50, with a fairing to keep the mud off your legs. 60 million sold.

You'd think that these new designers might take a lesson from that.

And they keep coming out with bikes that are totally ugly, highly impractical and cost a couple of small fortunes to buy. I forgot to mention heavy, with seats so high you need step ladder to get aboard.

(Scary thing is that people must be buying them!)

Wise words indeed, from Mr. Bendernz! I couldn't agree more.

But now it's time to return our collective gaze to a brief sampling of some of the incredible machines that will be on display at the show:

On Sunday, May 18th, you could find yourself "face to face" with this dazzling
1938 Harley Davidson Model U. That's 80 cubic inches of Raw flathead power!
(or just over 1,300cc's for you metric-types).

Wait a minute.

You mean there's gonna be vintage bikes - that actually run????

These bikes put the "fun" in functional?

Well damn, if only I had my ol' 1968 Honda 50 Cub to ride in on, I'd be there.

But I'm sure this thing's gonna be a huge pile of fun! Keep it up, Regbafazool!

Thank you for your support & confidence Nixels!

But I simply gotta ask: "Hey Johnny, What are you rebelling against?"

Because Daniel Weiss will be riding to the show on his 1952 Triumph
Thunderbird.....and who knows....perhaps he'll be strapping one of the
prize trophies to his headlight nacelle for the ride home?
