Wow, really? I take the Manhattan bridge route as I work downtown going from south of the park. But I do often pass that area going from TJs towards south of Brooklyn- never knew cops could be this tough in NYC!
All the cops in the morning, if there is a jam ahead or the lights turned red, have let me pass even if they dont let a car go. They seem quite overwhelmed by the rush hour traffic so I really did not think that they would have the time to stop anyone to ticket them!

They stock it.
I then drove 200 miles and it held my iPhone perfectly. Impressive.

LED lights locally

I'll keep this brief:

Many of you know I sell some pretty high powered LED lights.

I have new kits in stock with full harnesses and switches, and would like to extend a local discount to NYC inmate here. Please PM me if you'd like a set, and we can either meet up at the Ear or elsewhere to exchange.

That's all! Ride safe, and be seen!

Um. No. Ha!
I got a new helmet so I'm selling the old one.
My summer jacket is a bit big on me so I want something better fitting.
I ended up getting a gerbing all in one jacket so now I can sell my Gerbing liner.
As for my bike - I'd eventually like to get an F800GS or similar.
:)

Midtown Street Parking (Yeah, I know...)

So I work in Times Square but live in NJ. I'd like to on occasion ride into the city to work to mix things up from the NJT grind, but would prefer to invest in a wheel lock and not dump 20 bucks on a garage.

Is there any location that has legal street parking within a few blocks/avenues that anyone has experience with? For reference, I'm at 40th and Bway.

Search the keyword parking in this thread. There were a couple of parking websites/apps discussed 2-3 pages ago. They'll show you they hours when you can park somewhere. Long story short: good luck!

I work at the Shubert and I often find parking for my Smart on 44th between 9th and 10th. There is almost always a spot for a bike and now that it's warming up I plan on riding, and parking there. Keep in mind I work at night, but the times I've been in for day work I've found spots there as well. I keep a $25/day ICON Groupon just in case, but so far I've only had to use one. (Saturday during the holiday shopping season.)

So, are you the Statue of Liberty, Spider-Man, or Hello Kitty?
