The plan is to have the banner at SLAP for a few days and have it taken to RDV for a few days. Your alternative has it at SLAP for only a few hrs, which is lame, IMHO. If that was the only option, then I'd understand...

We'll either find a traveler to carry it to SLAP or we'll carry it from Tulsa. That way it can be with us (well, at least the early arrivals) for a few days.

You'd be the hero of the event...

If willing, please PM me asap. We will get the banner mailed to you in it's protective tube.

*Note, the banner travels rolled, not folded, so you'd have to be able to safely transport a tube ~48" long or so. Shouldn't be a problem for a true Adventure Rider.
I'll carry it from Norman if nobody with a longer trip wants it. I'll probably head down after work on the 14th.

Ok, I'll keep you in mind. Thanks. Probably give it through the weekend before the decision is made.

Splat

I'm sure you have heard it before, but ..................

This afternoon my wife asked me, "What day are you leaving to ride to that "SPLAT RALLY" over in Arkansas?"

Just thought some of you would find this as funny as I did!

There have been a few go Splat but most get Slapped.

Yes.
And I am leaving tomorrow morning to spend two days with Tucker to ride and gps some of the loops from camp. The goal is to have a few of them posted up here next week.
I will confirm with Oark that a big group is coming...but they already know.

By the way, Tucker is eager to have anyone come out and ride the trails with her. This weekend is ByrdFest. So a big pile of happy/dancing hippies will have taken over the camp. But the trails will be ours.

Thanks for doing that. I'll only be bringing the 2-smoker, (I think) so my riding will be limited to mostly trails. It will be a good 4 solid days of race training.

Maybe I'll bring the KLR for one day of DS touring.

Maybe next Saturday. I'm in tx this weekend working on reducing the piggie population.

The April 25 registration is most likely my brother. He has a confirmation that he registered, but seniorcitizen, trail name, is not showing in the registered list. Thanks and looking forward to a great weekend.

SeniorCitizen is NOT registered. I've had some PM's back and forth with him. Let me know if there's anything additional I need to do.

I matched the missing payment. I just emailed the guy that made the payment and he emailed me back. Maybe I should have posted that fact.

I rode my 2-smoker all weekend collecting tracks. I will need to clean them up, but I'll get 'em posted up as soon as I can.

Bad news . . . I broke my finger while I was loading the bikes up yesterday so I'm not sure I'll be able to ride much at SLAP
