Stickers

I could see Bones making some stickers up with "Bones Body Shop and BBQ" with a stripper outline in the background....

Not to up the thread but... This Saturday if anyone is interested:

I would love to see a good Adventure/Dual Sport bike turn out since very few people understand what it is all about and don't get to see these type of bikes very often. Plus everyone that enters gets a sweet event sticker and lanyard so that's cool too

Had a nice trip to kentucky today via madison. Got in a creek crossing in commiskey , seen a waterfall , had some good greasy grub @ hinkles and rode a bit of gravel. Unfortunately I didn't make it to the road in madison that you guys have mentioned a lot.

Had a big pucker moment when a electra glide in the oncoming lane started smoking then swerving and down it goes. Thought I was going to see someone get killed. Stopped and helped him push the beast off the road. Lucky he only had a scraped up elbow. Atleast he had a helmet...in the top box.

Said he had a low rear and was going to try to make it to madison. It didn't hold up. Ole boy is lucky.

I hope it is. I'm keeping an eye on it after replacing needle and seat. So far so good though. Thinking I'll try and make it up to revsport saturday.

You still got a vacuum petcock? Swap it out for a manual.

Using a raptor petcock on a clarke tank. Turned a plug for the vent line so i can swap back easy. I had left it on for 2 days when the flood happened.

The stock tank is full of gas sitting on the bench and not leaking though.

Adventure Ride Event

A few of us Indiana riders went to Kentucky to do some adventure riding prior to the Renfro Valley Dual Sport. We ran several roads that were unmaintained that made for some good riding. This ride is in the same general area, should be a good ride.

See flyer for info...

indiana ride thread

Gentlemen,

I feel as if I need to have a motorcycle confession. I'm not catholic but feel as if a confession is the only way to clear my conscience.

I have sinned. I just DROVE the Tail of the Dragon. I feel awful. The GPS routed us that way enroute to a wedding in Helen, GA. I was unable to take the wife in the Ural do to time constraints. Please forgive me.

On a side note that road looks fantastic and INCREDIBLY dangerous from on coming cars going wide in turns and crazy bikers. I'd love to ride it with zero traffic. As a public road it looks dangerous. We also got stuck for twenty minuets do to a cycle crash.

I'm calling this a scouting trip and maybe avoid the tail, but explore side roads someday.
