That's not bad. Ordered Thursday, so that gives them Friday to sort it out and arrange shipping, and it arrives while I'm having my brekky this morning (Monday). Took all of 3 minutes to dismantle the package, set up the cot and then do a test. All good!

Finke here we come!!

Thanks again Doctor...

Service Plus

Was planning on using a new Hennessy Hammock, a gift from my son , for the Ruptured Budgie. After sampling how it made my crook old back feel after just a short time decided to change options. Phoned Helinox Thurs 11am. Explained situation and that I was a Adv Lurker. Deal was done. Picked up parcel(cot and chair)at the post office as we left for Mingoola at 11am Fri morning.
Incredible service.
Thank you Helinox.
Thank you Doctor.

Apologies for the late post but credit where credits due.

Just spoke to Norm at helinox. What an awesome guy. He gave me the discount after I explained I missed the group buy.

Cots on back order but should have it in time for OCR along with a chair.

Excellent service from Helinox.

Hi Doc,

Any word on the mat yet? Am looking for something and would prefer one designed for the cot. If it is half as good a quality as their other gear it would still be better than anything else out there.

I sent them an email suggesting they should look at an inflatable pillow that also clips to the bed as well. Worse thing about beds without an end is the bloody pillow disappears throughout the night. Throws the neck out for days (doesn't take much anymore). Never got a reply, hopefully they got it and are looking at it too.

I took the table to one of those "days on the green" and had a constant stream of people stopping asking where to get it. They make you sit on the ground now and it worked a treat keeping the drinks upright and the food accessible. Much easier, particularly later in the night when we had trouble staying upright.

He had better make up for it when he gets back.

And? You could also ask him about if they are planning a pillow that attaches to the same loops as the mat's. The worst thing about these kinds of stretchers is the pillow falls off the end of the bloody things during the night. Bloody hard to retrieve when you are old and went to bed full of soup.
