I was fortunate to have a chance to stay here April 7th, 10th, 13th.

Prior to the 7th I rode around Moab with friends on dirt bikes and rode White Rim Trail and others.

After getting to 3-Step on the 7th, I unloaded the bikes from the trailer and then took the F800GS out to Escalante, then Kanab. This picture is from Toroweap at the North Rim.

Returning to 3 Step the 10th, I got a good nights rest and took the my lady Val out to St George. Then went to Flagstaff via Death Valley, Hoover Dam, and Route 66. Here is a pic of Val and I along Route 66.

I ended up at 3 Step the afternoon of the 13th and loaded up to drive home. I had a great time and Scott and Julie were great hosts.

Sadly, all things come to an end sometime. The ladies are loaded up and ready for the travel home.

A destination spot

A shout out to Scott and Julie and their 3step adventure! I was fortunate to make the open house Saturday, make some new friends and use 3step as a launch pad to cover 4 states in 3 days two up on my KTM.

Scott had plenty of parking to drop my truck, then we traveled to Cortez, CO(mesa Verde), 4-corners, valley of the gods, monument valley, moki dugway, camped at Muley point then back to 3 step.

Highly recommended!

Thumb 3 Step, a must visit!

Thanks Scott, Julie, Bee and friends for putting on a fantastic grand opening!

You've got a wonderful little slice of Utah and I cant wait to get back!

If anyone is considering a ride anywhere near here, 3 Step is a must stop... From their location you can access all kinds of great riding/exploring

or, if you've been out on the dusty trail for too long, pull up a Kermit chair and relax.

Stop by and say "Howdy!"... You won't be disappointed!

See y'all again real soon,
Corey

How about some food shots?

Scott and Julie treat everyone like family. You're going to get the red carpet whether you like or not. BigDog was there for almost two and a half weeks and I asked him if the menu had repeated yet. "Nope" was his reply. So, my plan to hang around until I saw the same meal twice wasn't going to work with my schedule. However, the thought of using three weeks of vacation to act as a guinea pig did cross my mind.

There's nothing like an awesome supper after a great ride.

Pork chops, tender and juicy:

The best part about the food at 3 Step is, it's healthy. You will notice all four food groups in the following picture, cheese, bacon, onions and 'taters:

DFW Gang Photos by Mark Bumgarner

Scott wrote the following note in an email a couple days ago, and I have to share some of the pictures for the inmates. Mark Bumgarner did an excellent job with the camera.

Hey Guys and Gals,
Here are a few pics from when we had the Dallas/ Ft. Worth gang here!.....one guy was a Pro photographer that took all these pics and sent them to me!.....It was fun with all these guys here for a week at 3 Step!.....We shucked alot of Grub out of the kitchen!!!!
Enjoy!
Scott
