I'd suggest that Wings owes you a commission from every sale.

Oh well live and learn. I still have a few available if anybody interested...handmade and your helping a fellow biker with some fuel money on his travels...;)

Got mine in today. Will install them tonight and ride to work on a hot day tomorrow.

Must say - the fit and finish is 1st rate - exactly what I would expect from Wings. The quality is exactly like their carbon fiber end caps and heat shields on their exhaust systems.

There are quite a few angles and different planes on the surfaces - makes for a great looking part and quite strong.

I ordered mine in the high gloss finish and this will look nice matching the exhaust.

So whats the verdict on the shields? Do they work as advertised?

This, my concern is not so much it blocks from my legs but how much air they force up into the seat, as I have measured my seat sides at over 130f after rides...

I did not install mine last night. They are going to rest against that beautiful orange frame in a few places so I wanted to get some protection. The edges of the coolers are turned in toward the frame and are only the thickness of the cooler so these will cut into the orange pretty easily.

I got some foam tape and some rubber grips that I can split and put over the frame. I'll look at it tonight and make a decision of what I put down.

My seat already has the factory updated insulation so it should be okay. Im about to order my Wings shorty and if the coolers work I want to add them to my order.

The Wings system comes with a insulation blanket that goes right over the computer under the seat, runs up the back of the tank and drapes down the sides a little. This blanket alone should help a lot.

Mine does too... the silver foil stuff. It really doesn't matter. It was finally above 70f yesterday and I could feel my little buddies roasting at every stop light.
