Cheers mate.. ..there is something magical about waterfalls ...we chose to have our lunch at this spot overlooking Bonnington Linn ......



The water level was very low and further down at Corra Linn we were able to scramble down the gorge to get a better view ...briefly ....you don't want to hang about too long as there are signs warning you not to go down as there can be sudden huge surges of water coming downstream depending on the workings at the power station just a mile upstream.

Sunday is biking day.



Seven bikes ..and a run south east to St Mary's Loch....... George, John's neighbour joined us for the day with his son Sam riding pillion ...he just turned 13 - it was his birthday ....

It looks like it probably took more than a Home Depot how-to class to get that done..

Had to do a spot of sheep dodging on the way back to Moffat....but the good news is a lot of the road has just been resurfaced...
