And - you don't have to put your feet down when you stop, or use a center
stand when you park etc. Can-Am is more like a car re: handling, this is more
like a motorcycle, that's all.
I do see how that could be a definite advantage on rough surfaces. Thanks for the insight.

Yeah, some people want to lean and be as safe as possible - this helps.

Also, you can skid the front brake and not fall for A LOT longer then on a
regular bike without ABS, but they added ABS on the new MP3 anyways.

Never wanted one on any of the bikes I had, I even had the option to EXTEND
the tail/fender on one of my scooters and I did that.

Even if it didn't stop the water and junk spraying up to me (topcase would),
I don't like bikes with a high tail and the rear wheel that ends behind the tail.

So, no tail tidy for me.

I'm sure it can even do light touring duties (some soft bags) and I have seen a video where they take a hypermotard (I think this one) super hard on some (soft) trails and gravel (ok, not the boulder type river beds but then who does...)

I'd take the 750, it's already too thirsty for it's own class, the 1200 has no range.

Besides, I don't really need more then 70-80hp, so the 750 is plenty.
A lot more usable then my current FZ6 which doesn't hit peak torque until you're
doing 50mph in 1st gear. I miss the engine from my ninja 650 (but not the vibes).

I'm some 400 miles from home in some hilly terrain and a FZ6 with +1 sprocket
up front is very unresponsive around town. It's fine where I live, but here, I need
something with more instant poke, and I loved the DD when I tried it back in 2008
or 2009.

He said doing stupid, not buying stupid.
