We'll decide what he wants, and as he wants stupid, he wants the Speed.

I wanna go terrorize hipsters at farmers markets with that arrow exhaust in first and second gear.

Farm fresh burnouts for all!

I sat on one today, liked most of what I saw, but, and this is a big but, my legs were brushing against the valve covers, and I am 5'11" with short legs and a long torso. Did not like at all.

Mirrors size sucks too, very small.

I next sat on the F6B and liked it much better. F6B with factory cruise control would suit me just fine.

Just got home from the Ducati dealer in New Orleans and I'm still tempted to pick up the Panigale. Then I check out the Bimota, 1000cc vtwin, SB8R. Man, that bike is so beautiful to see in the flesh.

The bike I checked out: http://ttrno.com/products/2000-bimota-sb8r-used

LIke I said above it reminded me of the Duke, only less focused, it's great, and
seems to be a bit more reliable then Shiver according to "problem reports" on
AF1 apriliaforums.

It's probably not a good choice for traveling but then again probably not
any worse then my FZ6 naked.

For the foreseeable I wanted just 1 bike. It needed to be short enough for the wife to ride with me. Fast enough to be able to say wow when I ride and look like the bikes I had in the 70s & 80s so I said goodbye to the Versys and VStar 950T and hello to this. Learned to never say never but for now I can live with just this.

Good choice. The new Deluxe looks a bit better more gas and ABS. and I love the optional fairing.
