Received my rear E09 Dakar today. Talk about fast shipping! Now I just have to wrestle this thing on.

Let us know how that goes. I bought one a few months ago for my Xchallenge. Wasn't even close to be able to get it on by hand. Took it to a shop to mount with their machine and they thought it was hard. Besides the good reviews I bought the E-09 Dakar as it is a tubeless tire and I have converted my rear wheel to tubeless. I believe it is the dirtiest tubeless tire available of the few tubeless 18" tires I could find.

worse Most worthless tire on the planet
it would be lethal suicide to ride on a big bike at high speed with one of those basketballs

lookig forward to arrival of the 18" E07's
my only viable option right now is Mefo super explorer and Heidenau scout

Was thinking about this over the weekend - Is the diameter of the Mitas E07s the same as any other tire of the same size? In other words, should I have any concern about the tire fitting under the front fender or rear hugger?

Thanks. Wasn't sure if the knobs added anything to the diameter. (I know, dumb question...)

Do all the e-07 tires have the yellow stripe, or just the Dakar? I ordered the regulars, and mine both have the stripe.

I believe the yellow stripe indicates Dakar.

That's what I thought. So I was kind of surprised to open two yellow stripe tires.
