Africa Twin stolen in Borsa, Maramures, Romania

My beloved Africa Twin RD04 got stolen in Borsa, Maramures, Romania 30/05/2014, around 2 AM in the morning. The motorbike is not really valuable but extremely important to me. If seen, please report immediately to Police Station in Borsa, Jud. Maramures, Romania.
Plates (Polish): WY 6039, VIN: RD042004716
The motorbike is blue and pink with remainings of the white paint (of course it might be repainted). It is equipped with hot grips, nav grip. The plastics are mostly broken.
If seen please write me immediately and report to the Police Station in Borsa. If you see the thievs, please treat them gently - a 12V battery on their balls would be a good start.
Africa Twin is very rare motorbike in Maramures - so keep an eye on every "local" who rides it - In this region there are probably no bikes of this kind.

Very sorry for your loss.

It's maybe not so valuable over there but extremely valuable over here on this side of the Atlantic. Big $$ in the States for one of those

Sorry for that, the AT comunity in Romania is on the watch . Maybe you are lucky and we find it in one piece. Normally the sportbikes are stolen and from my knowledge only 1AT was reported stolen in the last 5 years and it was found quite rapidely

Yup!~!!!!!!

All that thanks to one of Romanian Riders who I will owe for a loooong time. To cut the story short - he noticed it, he arranged everything with the Police from Borsa.

The bike is in Borsa and I am going to Romania for it at the end of July.
One of my friends in Borsa will check if its ok for riding, but according to the Romanian Rider who found it, the AT is more or less ok and the engine is running ok.

So....

A miracle. Who could've thought this would happen.
The bike is in one peace and according to the photos I received from Borsa, some of the gear is still one the bike.

Yess

Thank God, this is a rare thing indeed, I'm so happy for you.

I had a bike stolen from a hotel in Tennessee several years ago and I still check eBay and keep my eye out, for 17 years now I've been looking.

Again, I'm so happy for you.

Unfortunately there are some damages minor and major. I cannot publish the photos for certain reasons now but a friend of mine took detailed photos at the police station. For one - the bike is back and is more or less in one peace. For two - I will have disassemble absolutely everything to put it back right. And i am curious if the frame is not twisted. They (those f...s) must have crashed it somewhere.
