Added the event - I noticed on the web site and the text copied above*, it says the school is on May 5th, but the flyer says the 3rd. As the Enduro Race is the 4th, I'm guessing the School is on the 3rd not the 5th. Correct? Regardless looks like a fun event, hope you have a good turnout.

* On May 5th The Puget Sound Enduro Riders Present a enduro school starting at 9:30am

Scott,
Thanks for catching that.
The Beginner Enduro is definitely on Saturday May 3rd.
(I copied from the site, and I suspect they copied from last yr. Lol) I also noticed differences in start time. So be sure to double check when you arrive)

I am making the trip over to Castle Rock for the carnage... Leaving N. ID tomorrow, going to try to get in as much of sections 1 and 2 of the WBCDR as possible, check out Mt. St. Helens and then camp out Saturday night at the Track. I'll be on a blue KTM if anybody wants to stop by for a beverage.

Cheers!

Phil

One of this year's Sound Rider's Gorge Rally special guests will be......ME!!

I'm giving a seminar / slide show on Adventure Camping and Riding Solo. With an emphasis on cheap/free camping.

I (and Justin from Giant Loop) will also be leading a rather difficult Dual Sport ride for those not afraid to work extra hard and/or break a blinker or mirror or two.

Justin from Giant Loop (a main Gorge Rally sponsor) came up to our area last week, and we had a GREAT time pre-running the route (he loaned me a most awesome EXC 500 for the ride) and we are ready to beat up some bikes and riders. This will be a step towards the extreme "dirty" side campared to past Gorge Rally events.

That's great to hear.
Love riding with Justin.
I look forward to meeting you and seeing your seminar.

Community Reminder to Share Info

Just added a link to the "Oregon Discovery Rally" to be held in September. However, I see it's already SOLD OUT. Maybe it'll be a place holder for next year's calendar.

But as a reminder to all, if you know of an MC related event in the PNW that you think other riders would be interested in, post it in this thread and I'll add it to the first post.

C'mon over, have a cold one at the famous Brick saloon, and watch this film about a legendary rider and the roots of KTM. Here's a link to the trailer and ticket sales...

That's well worth the trip over the hump. I'll try to get a group together. Had some great times camping at Bullfrog and riding the coal piles and trails.
