That ripit use to turn me into a chatter box. Use to come in handy on Gov. sponsored outings.
Had to limit my door gunners too two cans as to have ammo for return trip!

Rucked UP - sorry but I am out this weekend or I would love to ride with you.
Maybe a quick breakfast ride on Sunday on beasts. KTM parts are now on the way to FWB. Hope to have it together next weekend.

Big Dawg Video - we had this conversation three years ago. What most on this forum don't understand is the RACING MENTALITY. Sure it was for a trophy, and it was in the Dual Sport class -but it was still a race and I for one was always there to win. I understand what happened and if you have to place the blame on someone it was the guy on the little bike who would NOT move over. Surely he knew the fast guys from the next heat would be on his tail soon. And he was not run over but rather fell in the way. Enough said...again.

In case you have not been outside it AFRICA hot!!!

Daaang! All that for a trophy??? No $$$ involved???

Fuck, I reckon if there's $$$ involved, fooker may have shot him to getdafukouttadaway.

No comprendo... maybe I just ride for fun instead of the competitive aspect of it all. I'll never understand.

Eloy,

You know whenever you get any competitive riders together (even for a fun ride) there's gonna be a race. Hare scrambles are full of incidents just like that. Looked to me like the guy was trying to ride over his head thinking he could beat the guy catching up. You know he heard the guy behind him.

On another note, I'm on a sailing trip in the British Virgin Islands but will be in Lakeland the 20-21. Let's hook up and ride the VanFleet!

I might need to borrow one of your road bikes though.

I don't have any road pedal bikes!

I do however have dirt/dual sport bikes... and you're welcome to ride one if you like.

Competition

As some of you know, I no longer ride events where there is single track, or competition. Raced for too long and no matter how much I tell myself I will ride only for fun and at my own pace... it wont happen. Almost got me in Perry Mountain that Friday when we hit the single tract for fun!

As someone once said if you have more than one motorcycle you have a race.

Anyway - nuff said about that.

BTW - in SERA Enduros when a fast guy catches you, they will "woo woo" as a warning (no horns of course). Smart thing to do is pull over or give them a nod of the helmet or a wave to let em know you will move ASAP... which may not be instantly. They may wait or they may just come around anyway.

In Hare Scramble they just come around period. "Racin aint for pussies mates." not my quote.

I'm up for some riding on the REZ or otherwise. I was thinking Hard Labor on Sunday. Let me know what time, I was actually planning to ride Sunday.

Ridin Karick

Me and college boy got out early to Karick, Hansel and Greteled it out as far as we could and found our way back twice. Did two tanks and it was hot but not unbearable. No other bikes in the woods and even the campground was sparsely populated for such a nice weekend. No issues all good.
