Just wanted to comment on the seat I purchased...

Awesome seat. Ordered the tall seat regular vinyl for my 2008 KTM 530 fits great looks great and very happy with the added comfort. I do wish the foam was a little softer but hoping it will soften up with a little .

Hi, thing is i ordered in the bgining of the week cause i wanted to ride on the weekend, so i had the stock foam and cover stripped off allready waiting for the new foam and cover to be installed, and i installed it so that i could ride... i know i should not have, but did not want to spend $25 bucks to ship it back and wait another week. wasent me fault imo.

Al Bundy scored 4 touchdowns in 1 game.

I'm thinking about getting the 2 up adv low for my 990. Is there an advantage to getting your seat pan or is it the same as a stock one? Is there any real difference? I have a stock one I can use.

Just got back from Quebec and my new SC was waiting in a box. Nice looking staple job, centering and fit and finish.
Threw it on the exc last night and will ride it around today for the first test!

No advantage, unless you want to have 2 different seats to fit what ever kind of ride you are going on.
Or you could dell your old seat and make some $ back.
Some guys don't want to do any stapling either.

After reading all the reviews I could find and viewing all the
relevant youtubes I could find , I finally bit the bullet and ordered
a seat for my ktm 950. I didn't want the grip so I
ordered carbon top and sides.
Right now I can ride three hours on the highway comfortably with my
stock seat.
I will let you know what the difference is with the new seat concepts seat.

Can't wait.

Well, I got back from my trip to Rugby, TN for a FSSNOC Thumper Café, plus a little side trip to do the Dragon. Total 3274.1 GPS miles. Took my time more than I would have before I retired so did it in 9 days. Several 400 mile plus days but nothing over 450.

The Seat Concepts Commuter seat on the DR did well. Interestingly, for the first 200 miles or so of any day it beats the old Corbin in comfort. After that it seems to be about the same, which is certainly not bad. So it's definitely a keeper!

Transalp/Corbin

Didn't see an email contact on the website, so asking here first.

After 80K+ miles on my Transalp, the Corbin seat is definitely in need of replacement and yours looks like the best deal. Can your Transalp seat foam/cover be put on a Corbin Transalp pan, or only the OEM pan? Also, can the cover be done in blue or blue/black, or is black the only option?

Thanks

Thanks. I had checked the contacts page, but silly me didn't think to click on the names to see if there was more info available. I just saw the phone numbers only and moved on. I normally check advrider when I'm in a long boring phone meeting from my desk (like now) and I can't listen in and phone out at the same time.
