Duh, I saw the small red lettering under the chrome lettering and thought it was a Diesel. Damn, a 392 Hemi, you have all the cool Mopar engines!

Big Bike friendly mixed surface loop - all are welcome to come along.

When: Saturday 6/21/2014
Start/end point: Woodstock, VA - Cracker Barrel.
Time: Stands up and leaving at 10am.
Distance: 150 miles or so.
Pace: Sane

Details: Route will be a combination of asphalt, gravel roads, and fire roads out west from Woodstock and down towards Rt 33 and then back to Woodstock. There will be some small stream crossings - all should be well less then axle deep unless we get a monsoon between now and Saturday. Some sections will be fairly rocky but nothing extreme. For those familiar with the off pavement roads in the area Rough Run rd, Veco 240, etc are likely to be on the route. Small D/S bikes are welcome however my pace through the rougher sections will be slow as I will likely be on a big bike instead of the 525. Riders are always welcome to jump in front and wait at the next crossroads if they want to run a quicker pace. The exact route and distance are not nailed in stone as it depends on what the weather is doing, who shows, etc.

Time to go get a bit dirty again. ;)

I missed tonights rain since I didn't get off work until a little after midnight. Roads were damp on the way home, that was it.

I'll get to start this mornings ride with dry gear.

Good times. We covered a fair amount of ground. We had some sun, some fog, a little rain, some mud. The SMT has an obvious affinity towards slimy WV mud... It wanted to roll around in it for a bit. Rather inconsiderate of it though if you ask me.

No serious harm to bike or rider. (Other than the flimsy Trax case, luckly I bought those used) and the ride continued on.

Nice post. Sorry I missed your ride, the wife and I were gone on our own little adventure for 7 days. We saw some sun and rain, crazy fog too (no pictures of fog).

See you next ride.

Ah, BRP trip eh? Asheville. Builtmore Estate. I need to get down that way soon.

That's cool your wife rides too!

I ran into Old Eli(another Front Royal inmate) yesterday. He was thinking of heading down to Willville today.

We rode some of the BRP on the way back (Asheville to Boone) but then 221, 11 and 340.

Yeah she loves her Suzuki....everywhere we go when we meet people she always asks which bike they like better, the blue one or the green one . She is not afraid to grab a handful of throttle when necessary.
