Road Info Around Robbinsville, NC

We will be taking the cruisers to ride in the Robbinsville area this weekend and my question is "Is Otter Creek/Tellico Road/ 1365 paved from Wayah Road to NC28?"

Also, it appears that Wayah Rd in it's entirety is paved. Am I right?

Didn't have time to take the Wee down to explore.

Thanks.

Otter Creek Rd is mostly gravel between 28 and Wayah.

Wayah is paved.

Thanks. Looks like a great road for the Wee, but not the Wing.

Ok. Got another question. How about Junaluska Road, 1505/1401 in the same area. Paved?

Again, thanks.

Saw a bald eagle last trip through Otter Creek. It was majestically trying to steal fish from a trout pond.

For something completely different, try yellow creek rd. It connects Hwy 129 to 28 North of Stecoah. I think it is called Upper Tuskeegee Rd when it junctions with Hwy 28. It is paved and is hardly ever traveled. Not chock full of twists but very nice scenery and will give you a break from the squibs.

We are staying at the Tuskeegee Motel and Yellow Creek/Upper Tuskeegee is right there. Will be trying it. Heading there in a few hours.

Thanks.

Rode Yellow Creek from 28 to 129. Nice road and great views.

mb90535im

Took Wayah from 74 to 64. Outstanding ride, especially by the lake.

We had a Goldwing, 2 Harley's, an Excelisor/Henderson and a Triumph Explorer. Had a great time for 3 days but next time, I bring my Wee.

Thanks again.

Glad you guys had fun. Wayah is one of my favorite rides in the area. When you bring the Wee back, ride to the top of Wayah Bald. The view from the old fire tower is beautiful.
