Camp sites?

I was thinking about doing some of this as a 2-3 day shake down trip. Doesn't seem to be a lot of options for camping along the way though.

So far, I'm only coming up with these being remotely near the route:
State parks
  1. Kanopolis State Park - N38 38.709' W97 59.244'
  2. Sand Hills State Park - N38 07.372' W97 50.746'
  3. Scott State Park - N38 40.765' W100 54.720'
  4. Lyons (City park, not sure which)
  5. Sterling Park - N38 12.253' W98 12.170'

Since KS is mostly private property, I figure it's best to stick to the known sites. If there's nothing really out there to turn this into a multi-day loop I'll figure a place to cut off the route and head in another direction to get the distance and camping satisfied.

You can also camp in Council Grove around the lake. There is another one further west, but I do not remember the name. The best would be to ask people along the way, makes it hard to plan though...
