Does anyone know how to adjust the idle speed with TuneECU. I want to lower the idle by about 100rpm

Thanks

You must connect tuneecu, read the map, apply the rpms value changes in the idle table, save it and download the map into the ecu again.

easy

You can do it. But, don't do it. It's not a harley. Not good for this motor.

? Should my 990 idle at like 1400rpm
The dealer says they 1, don't know what the idle should be, and 2, you can,t adjust the idle speed, it's controlled by the ecu. So that's why they can't find the spec!
Does that sound like bullshit to anyone besides me.

Hi

I realise its not a harley.
Please explain why it will hurt the motor as its idling fairly high compared to normal spec.

Idle is set at 1470 on most. Much lower = low oil pressure and possible damage.

All fixed. Finally got the cable for TuneECU. Connected and adjusted the throttle cables with the Stepper motor holding fully closed. Now idling 400rpm lower (now within spec) !!!!

Cheers
